Lately I've been debating whether to use L2 or the mainnet... Honestly, that sense of security of the mainnet, where "everything is finally settled and safe," is hard to replace. But then I look at the gas fees and feel distressed, especially for small transactions which feel like being penalized for standing still. Now I usually use L2 for daily interactions and testing things, and only grit my teeth to switch back to the mainnet for long-term holdings or large transfers, trying to combine actions and avoid multiple steps.

And recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and there are an absurd number of phishing links, which makes me even less willing to click on pages like "bridging/airdrops"... I’d rather wait two more days than save some gas and end up with a bunch of trouble. Anyway, my perfectionist old habit is: the more I try to pick the optimal solution, the more likely I am to delay until the last minute. How about you?
