I rarely get involved directly, so I like to watch a project and see if it "looks like a reliable crew." Beginners want to assess credibility, so don't rush to study complex things: check if GitHub is consistently updated, or if they suddenly push a bunch of commits overnight just to look busy; don't just look at the audit report's "pass" status—flip through to see if they've prioritized issues and whether they've fixed them; upgrading permissions is even more critical, and it's best if it’s not just one or two people who can approve upgrades—look at the number of signers and the thresholds to ensure it’s not too casual. Recently, the funding rate has been extreme, with discussions in the group about whether to reverse course or keep squeezing the bubble. I, for one, want to understand "who can move my money" first, and the rest... I’ll just watch the drama unfold slowly.
