Last night, the blockchain was a bit congested, and my swap transaction was queued up in the mempool, stuck there and not moving. I clearly clicked confirm, but my mindset was like waiting at the station for a delayed train… What you can do is basically just two things: either add a little more fee to get it moved forward, or accept it and just wait. If you’re unlucky, you might get knocked out by someone else’s more expensive “queue-jump,” and by the time it finally slides through, the slippage changes—so the execution price is completely different from what you imagined when you placed the order.

Why am I so calm? In plain terms, it’s just a habit: after I broadcast a transaction, I flip my phone upside down and force myself to wait 3 minutes before checking again; otherwise, staring at pending only makes me want to tinker, and the more I change, the worse it gets.

I’ve also been thinking lately about the whole social mining and fan token setup—the “attention is mining” thing… Sometimes it really does feel like mempool congestion: whoever’s louder goes first, and the quiet ones can only stand in line. In any case, I still trust structure more than vibes.
