Trump Skeptical of Iran's Offer, Signal to Continue Military Action

President Donald Trump is reported to be skeptical of Iran's latest proposal to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and to delay nuclear talks. According to a Wall Street Journal report, Trump doubts Tehran's good faith in meeting Washington's main demands, especially regarding the cessation of uranium enrichment and nuclear weapons development.
The White House is expected to issue an official response in the coming days to clarify the US position on the offer. Although negotiations are still ongoing, Trump has signaled that military action could be resumed if diplomatic efforts end without tangible results. This uncertainty is beginning to put pressure on global risk assets due to concerns over oil supply disruptions and rising inflation.
The situation in the Strait of Hormuz is a major concern because of its vital role in the global energy route. If tensions escalate and sanctions are expanded, volatility will intensify along with the strengthening of the US dollar as a safe haven asset. Conversely, investors are still awaiting a concrete diplomatic agreement as a primary condition for restoring stability to the digital asset market in the medium term.
