Last night I was a bit late again, wanted to add to my position but the chain directly got congested during peak hours... I was watching the mempool, and my transaction looked like waiting in line: first being placed in the "candidate zone," miners/packagers pick the more lucrative tips first, so my small fee kept getting pushed back, and sometimes it might even get replaced and reordered. In the end, it either slowly confirms or times out, leaving me anxious all night.

Honestly, it's like: you think clicking send is the end, but actually you're competing for a seat with the entire network.
My colleague was still complaining about the NFT royalty flame war, saying creators want income, but traders complain about low liquidity. Listening to that, I just... this on-chain mechanism is basically "who can pay the most gets to go first," no wonder everyone’s arguing. Anyway, for someone like me who arrives late, I just stop moving during congestion, preferring to miss out rather than force my way through.
