For example, Subgraph/indexers need to scan through blocks piece by piece before they serve the data to you. When there’s a reorg or they’re updating historical information, the refresh can lag by half a beat. And if you keep clicking, it might also get throttled by RPC, making it just spin and spin like a place that’s crowded, where you have to queue up first.
