Lately, I’ve been having a hard time watching governance voting, saying it’s “community governance,” but then a bunch of people delegate their votes to a few familiar big accounts. Basically, they’re outsourcing the decision-making power… I used to be quite stubborn, always saying “I only look at on-chain data,” watching the footsteps of whales, monitoring funding rates and sentiment turning points, thinking the chain wouldn’t lie. Now I realize that on-chain data can also be deceptive—it's just a matter of who holds more votes, and the oligarchic control is more straightforward than candlestick charts. Plus, recently, with the stacking/sharing security yield stacking being criticized as “pyramid schemes,” it’s more like: yields are stacking, power is stacking, so who is the governance token ultimately governing? Anyway, I’m going to withdraw my delegation first and slow down my orders… although, most likely, I’ll still do it at the last second.
