韓国の金融当局がCoinoneに対して厳しい処分を下したみたいですね。52億ウォンの罰金と3ヶ月の新規ユーザーサービス停止だって。顧客の本人確認が約70,000件も不備だったのと、未登録の海外プラットフォームを通じた取引が10,000件以上あったのが主な理由らしいです。
韓国ってこのところ仮想資産プラットフォームへのAML・KYC規制をかなり厳しくしてるんですね。Upbitやその他の大手取引所も同じような処分を受けてるって聞きました。これ、短期的には新規ユーザーの獲得に影響が出るだろうし、業界全体のコンプライアンス強化が加速しそう。
韓国のこういった動きって、グローバルな仮想資産市場の規制トレンドを示してる気がします。ユーザー保護とマネーロンダリング防止の観点からは必要な措置かもしれないけど、取引所の経営には結構な負担になりそう。
