Just saw data from CoinGlass, yesterday global crypto liquidations reached crazy numbers, US$826 million in 24 hours. The worst was short positions, with liquidations up to US$661 million, while long positions only US$166 million. It means many traders betting on prices going down got liquidated.

The most shocking thing was the single largest liquidation on Hyperliquid, the BTC-USD pair, with a transaction value reaching US$15.7 million. Insane. Then BTC itself was liquidated for US$375 million, ETH for US$184 million. According to CoinGlass tracking, over 194,000 people got liquidated in that 24 hours.

More and more people seem to be paying attention to CoinGlass data because their liquidation map is quite accurate for tracking market movements. Conditions like this usually indicate high volatility, so be careful if you want to trade with leverage.
BTC-1.78%
ETH-3.34%
HYPE-1.72%
