I just checked data from Coinglass and see that liquidation activity on current CEXs is quite intense. If ETH continues to rise and breaks the $2,100 level, the short positions liquidated could reach $896 million. Conversely, if the price drops below $1,900, long positions will face pressure with $650 million being liquidated.

The interesting part is that the "liquidation columns" high on the chart indicate important price points — where liquidity waves will trigger strong reactions. Currently, ETH is around $2.32K, so we are near these zones. Major CEXs are currently the places with the most liquidation activity, so caution is needed as the price approaches these expected levels.
