$PI A friend asked me how to tell the downtrend and uptrend modes.

I told him, in a downtrend, prices quickly rise upward, similar to a rise, but ultimately it’s a fall.
In an uptrend, prices quietly and actively increase, occasionally with a tendency for sharp drops, but ultimately it’s a rise.
Regardless of whether it’s a downtrend or an uptrend, one sentence:
In a downtrend, hold onto U; in an uptrend, hold onto coins.
It’s that simple.

The idea seems foolproof. How many times have you guessed correctly? If you got all of them right, you'd be making a fortune!
