I see foreigners are all playing @eDMTProtocol, so I took a quick look.
eDMT is a deterministic asset protocol based on Ethereum mainnet calldata, converting Ethereum EIP-1559 block burns directly into on-chain assets that can be owned and traded (eNAT).
Simply put:
Each Ethereum block automatically destroys a portion of the base fee (ETH permanently disappears) through EIP-1559. eDMT turns this "burn event" into an on-chain asset bound to a specific block — one block = one eNAT, with its value directly corresponding to the amount of ETH burned in that block.
Total supply: About 12 million blocks since EIP-1559 can be minted.
Mechanism: Historical blocks can be minted for free (first come, first served); future blocks require paying a "capture fee" (using existing bENAT fragments), which will be burned by the protocol to prevent unlimited inflation.
Simple three-step gameplay:
1. Mint eNAT
Go to select a mined block to mint. Prioritize blocks with high ETH burn (the more burned, the more valuable, and more bENAT can be split later).
Currently, minting one costs about 0.04 USD in gas; each block can only be minted once, and once someone else has claimed it, it's gone.
2. Wrap into tradable wENAT (ERC-721 NFT) or bENAT (ERC-20 token)
Go to wrap eNAT into:
wENAT (ERC-721 NFT) → suitable for collecting rare blocks (high burn in history, palindromic numbers, etc.)
bENAT (ERC-20 token) → can be split and traded, like fragmented BURN amounts
Wrapping requires 12-15 minutes for finality, with very low gas. However, I encountered quite a few issues when wrapping and splitting myself, sometimes UI gets stuck. Small test transactions are recommended.
3. Place trade orders
List wENAT or bENAT on the market for buying and selling.
Fees: The project team does not charge any protocol fees throughout; only ETH gas is needed. Based on current gas prices, the full process costs about 1-3 USD (depending on network conditions). It’s still early days, not many people are playing, and I’ve only tried a little for safety.
Also, it’s recommended to mint first, since large ETH blocks are limited; it’s better to understand the process before wrapping and splitting later.
Risk reminder: High-risk degen play, for reference only, DYOR.
