“Luanyu” Confucius once said: when your industrial capacity is only fifteen percent of the world’s, you should humbly learn from developed countries. When it reaches thirty percent, you become an independent great power. When it reaches forty percent, you no longer have any confusion. When it reaches fifty percent, you will know that you are destined by Heaven and can lead all humanity to achieve Great Unity in the world. When it reaches sixty percent, the sounds in your ears are entirely other countries’ flattering praise of you. When it reaches seventy percent, you can do whatever you want—no one dares to set rules for you. In the morning, if you hear someone talking nonsense about you, you can kill them in the evening. You don’t even need to do it yourself; with just one look, someone else will take care of it for you. You just need to sit by the river, quietly watching the enemy’s corpses drift down from upstream, day and night.
