Why do domestic new energy vehicles have frequent out-of-control accidents?

Besides powerful horsepower and operator errors with the accelerator, there is a more hidden reason: suspension.
Currently, domestically produced electric cars priced above 250k yuan are basically equipped with air suspension + CDC as standard, with minimal body roll during cornering, making the vehicle stance very stable and smooth.
This is one of the biggest selling points of domestic new energy vehicles, but it is actually a trap.
The body roll, pitch, and center of gravity transfer in traditional performance cars essentially tell the driver how close the vehicle is to its limits.
And a car that always maintains a stable stance can give you the illusion that the car has no limits.
By the time the tires actually slip, there is no warning, and losing grip happens in an instant.
Moreover, electric cars in the same class are at least 300–500kg heavier than gasoline cars, and without engine noise as a prompt, the correction window is shorter, and the kinetic energy after losing control is greater.
Most drivers, as non-professional racers, first react with panic steering, followed by secondary loss of control.
Even professional racers, I’ve seen, have had their first time on the track crashing into a wall in a Xiaomi Su7 Ultra.
Domestic new energy vehicles are very good, but you must drive them carefully.
