Ethereum Development Plan by Vitalik Buterin 🚀
Vitalik Buterin has presented an ambitious five-year plan for Ethereum (ETH), focusing on scalability and quantum security. Amid growing concerns about quantum technologies, he emphasized that Ethereum's main goal is to become the most secure and decentralized "global computer."
In the short term, the plan is to increase the gas limit, expand the EVM, and implement quantum-resistant signatures. By 2028, transaction confirmation times are expected to be reduced to 10-20 seconds, and zkVM technology will be introduced.
Buterin also noted that existing quantum-resistant signatures require improvements in efficiency.
