The Three Stages of the $RAVE Chinese Community

In the days when $RAVE was smashed from $28 to $0.48, the Chinese group staged a complete chronicle of human emotions.
$RAVE ‌
Stage One: Defending Rights. Some people took screenshots, some @ed the project team, some said they wanted to go report to the police, and someone translated ZachXBT’s bounty tweet into Chinese and posted it in the group. The group owner came out and said, “Everyone stay calm,” and got cursed in more than two hundred messages.

Stage Two: Self-deprecating Humor. There were no results from defending rights, no one paid attention when they reported to the police, and the bounty tweet was in English. Someone changed the group name to “RAVE Zeroing Mutual Aid Society,” and people started posting jokes: “The RAVE bought for $28—now it’s enough to buy a cup of Mixue Bingcheng, no extra pearls.” Someone replied: “You can still afford Mixue—I'm at least to the point I even need to AA my lemon water.” The group was full of hahahaha—laughing and laughing until nobody said anything anymore.

Stage Three: Esotericism. Yesterday, RAVE bounced back to 1.8, and suddenly a whole bunch of feng shui masters appeared in the group. Someone said it was because the market maker’s birth chart favors fire—if the fire is旺 in April, it will pull the chart; someone said the moon sign moved into Scorpio, favorable after the bad news is used up; and someone posted a RAVE candlestick chart, drawing a bagua on it, saying this is called a “Qian hexagram breakout pattern.” Someone below asked: “Master, how much do you see?” The master replied: “Heaven’s secrets cannot be revealed.” Today, RAVE fell back to 1.4, and someone @ed the master asking how to look at it. The master replied with two words: “Pullback.” Then the message was withdrawn.
