Mars Finance reports that Bitcoin Core has released version v31. The main updates are as follows: improved Mempool logic—nodes can now more accurately determine the overall value of a set of related transactions, deciding whether to keep them, relay them, or package them; ordinary transfer users are minimally affected, but users using RBF, CPFP, the Lightning Network, complex wallets, or server-side wallets may see changes in transaction acceptance/rejection behavior; enhanced private broadcasting functionality supports broadcasting sendrawtransaction via Tor/I2P, so the recipient cannot learn the sender’s IP address and geographic location.
