2039: When encryption technology becomes as present as air, water, and electricity

Many people ask me, how much will BTC be worth in 2039? As a female professional deeply rooted in the industry, I care more about how technology changes the lives of ordinary people.

My bold predictions:
1. BTC breaking $1 million is only a matter of time: As global consensus is reached, BTC will completely move beyond the “speculation” attribute and become the ultimate safe-haven asset for households around the world.

2. “Digital bride price” and “on-chain retirement”: In 13 years, my son will just be fifteen or sixteen. By then, people sending gifts and giving red envelopes may no longer be cash, but tokens in a Gate wallet. Even our pensions may be automatically run on-chain through smart contracts.

3. Gate will become a “digital lifestyle service provider”: In the future, Gate might not be called an exchange. It may be like Alipay today—covering all our digital lifestyle scenarios from payments, to investing, to social interactions.
