The difference between a trader and an analyst is that traders focus on practical experience rather than predictions; analysts make all kinds of absolute statements and emphasize forecasting. Therefore, there is a saying in the trading world: "Light on prediction, heavy on reaction." Essentially, all predictions are probabilistic and cannot avoid errors. What matters is the response plan after an error, which determines the trader's level—whether they belong to the analyst camp or the practical combatant camp.
