And the FTAV chart quiz winner isn’t . . .
What with everything happening everywhere, we thought it would be nice to give you a break and make last week’s chart quiz easier than usual. Unfortunately, we messed up and made it impossible. Sorry.
Here are the answers no one got.
Chart One is Surface Transforms. The UK small-cap maker of carbon-ceramic brake discs said last week that General Motors had terminated a contract that accounted for nearly all its revenues. All sorts of media covered the share price collapse, from the Daily Mail to the Liverpool Echo, so we didn’t think this was too challenging.
Some content could not load. Check your internet connection or browser settings.
Chart Two is VKOSPI, the Kospi 200 Volatility Index, aka the Korean VIX. This would be fairly difficult unless you read last week’s newsletter, which included a version of the chart halfway through.
Chart Three is the Japan Vending System Manufacturers Association’s count of vending machines operational in Japan — and honestly, we can’t apologise enough. There was a reason to think this would be an easy spot; we just can’t tell you what it is yet.
Louis is in charge of this week’s quiz. Expect fewer apologies and more competency.
