Bybit's Token Splash "Trade to Earn Coins" event rules have changed
How did everyone play before?
Basically — lying flat at the beginning, then going all out in the last two days
The result is:
No liquidity at the start, the order book gets crowded on the last day
Now the official has directly cut in, and the new rules boil down to one sentence:
👉 The earlier you trade, the higher your weight; the more trading days, the greater the bonus
Here's a straightforward example:
Suppose your total trading volume is 1 million:
🧠 If you only trade on the last day
➜ The bonus is only 0.8
➜ 1 million trading volume ≈ only counting as 800,000
🧠 If you participate from the beginning
➜ The early phase time coefficient is higher (up to about 1.5)
➜ You can also benefit from the "cumulative days coefficient" amplification
➜ The final effective trading volume calculated may be far higher than 1 million, not just 1.5 times in a single day, but amplified over the entire cycle
Essentially:
Turning the "sprint gameplay" into a "long-distance run gameplay"
The official goal is also very clear —
Increase liquidity throughout the entire cycle, no longer just lively in the last two days
Honestly, this change is actually more friendly to serious participants
In the past, it was a contest of who dared to go all in last; now it’s about who is more stable
My personal current advice (just sharing experience):
✔ No need to pile up volume immediately
Observe two cycles first, get familiar with the new calculation logic
✔ Checking in daily has become more important
Currently, there’s no minimum amount limit
Making a few transactions daily worth a few dollars probably counts as effective days
✔ Don’t wait until the last two days to think about boosting volume
Playing like this now, the bonus will be directly lowered, and profit margins will shrink significantly
One summary:
This activity has shifted from “explosive at the end” → to “continuous accumulation”
Those still playing by the old mindset will likely find later —
They traded a lot but didn’t keep up with the weight
Normal participants, or those who haven’t understood the rules yet, can contact me privately. I’ll clearly explain the pitfalls I’ve encountered, so you can avoid detours
