In a joint statement, Chair Atkins and Chair Selig said, "Market participants have long had to operate under an unclear and poorly coordinated regulatory framework based on outdated jurisdictional divisions. This event is a continuation of efforts to coordinate, aiming to ensure that innovation can thrive within the U.S. legal framework and be rooted in the interests of U.S. investors, consumers, and economic leadership."

Both leaders emphasized that this discussion is a concrete step toward the policy goal announced by President Trump to make the U.S. a global hub for crypto assets.

Event Schedule

The event will begin with opening remarks from Chair Atkins, followed by a keynote speech from Chair Selig, and conclude with a fireside chat involving both chairs. The dialogue will be hosted by Eleanor Tret), a professional journalist specializing in crypto assets and co-founder of "American Cryptocurrency."
