The latest crypto market structure bill text from the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee failed to reach an agreement with the Democrats
Golden Finance reports that crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett stated that the additional two weeks of negotiations to secure formal Democratic support have been unsuccessful. The bill markup in the Senate Agriculture Committee next week is expected to be partisan, which is not a positive sign for the Senate Banking Committee, which originally hoped to advance its review through bipartisan consensus. She further mentioned that the Senate Agriculture Committee has released the latest version of the crypto market structure bill text. Committee Chairman John Boozman said that an agreement with the Democrats has not been reached, but they still look forward to next week's review meeting. The meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.
