The longstanding issues in the advertising industry—data falsification, opaque revenue, and lack of user privacy protection—have yet to be solved. Alkimi, as a decentralized advertising platform, has recently integrated deeply with Walrus, seemingly attempting to fundamentally change this logic.

How is it changed? Critical data such as ad exposure records, user interactions, and settlement vouchers are stored in Walrus's verifiable storage, ensuring the integrity of the entire data chain. This allows advertisers to verify on-chain whether the exposure is genuine, and publishers can clearly see how their revenue is calculated—leaving no room for data falsification or behind-the-scenes manipulation.

Privacy considerations are also addressed. Walrus's Seal access control lets users decide the scope of advertising data authorization—if they want to protect their privacy, they can; if they want to share data for higher revenue, they can—control is in their hands.

From an ecosystem perspective, this integration enables all roles within the advertising platform to operate within a framework of "trustworthy data, transparent revenue, and controllable privacy." For the decentralized advertising track, it breaks through key bottlenecks for scaling and also demonstrates Walrus's practical capability in commercial data storage scenarios.
