#代币空投活动 Seeing that the Lighter airdrop distribution is complete, I have to be honest — this pace feels a bit familiar, very familiar.

First, the data: 12.5 million points airdropped immediately, equivalent to 25% after full dilution, with each point redeemable for 20 LIT. Sounds good, but I want to remind everyone, this is a typical "early participant benefits" tactic. The 50% allocation to the ecosystem and 50% to team investors seem balanced, but in reality, the team and investors have a 1-year lock-up + 3-year linear release protection, while retail airdrop tokens? They can be traded immediately, facing instant selling pressure.

Most importantly — the official announcement said "the airdrop time is still not specified," yet it was distributed within half a day, and 250 million LIT were transferred to the platform. What does such a hurried pace usually imply? Liquidity preparation, trading pair setup, possible dump preparations. I've seen too many projects where trading starts right after the airdrop, then large funds dump en masse, leaving new retail investors to get caught one after another.

The key question is: Is the token unlock schedule clear? Is the trading depth sufficient? How are the main holdings distributed? I haven't seen thorough data on these. Don’t just focus on promotional phrases like "DEX product revenue can be tracked on-chain," what you need to see is genuine liquidity and long-term value support.

My simple advice: don’t rush to buy at high prices right after the airdrop. Observe for a week, watch the price trend, big wallet movements, and real trading volume. The true nature of many projects only reveals itself after the first wave of hype. Longevity is far more important than quick profits.
