Building your own thing: which path appeals to you?

Scenario A: Keep it lean with 5 virtual assistants, hit 10k monthly revenue while maintaining location independence and full autonomy. Work from anywhere, minimal overhead, maximum freedom.

Scenario B: Scale aggressively—50 employees, 100k+ monthly income but you're chained to the office, drowning in management overhead and operational headaches.

The core tradeoff isn't really money vs. freedom. It's leverage vs. control. Small team = you stay in the driver's seat but hit revenue ceilings. Big team = serious cash flow but your time gets decimated by meetings and people problems.

Which matters more to you at this stage?

Honestly, Plan A sounds great. Who wants to be chained to the office?

Honestly, A appeals to me more. The sense of autonomy in a small team is really refreshing. Being confined in an office and having meetings every day? I'd rather earn less money.

nah scenario B is literally a ponzi of your own time... technically speaking, if you look at the data on founder burnout rates, the correlation coefficient between headcount and mental health degradation is wild. scenario A's 10k feels like sustainable returns compared to that chaos tbh

To be honest, I still prefer the A approach. A stable cash flow of 10k plus geographical freedom—that's true freedom. Over at B, once the population increases, they start working 996.
