Sonic Labs recently updated the details of the ETF configuration plan. Although the community previously authorized the use of up to 50 million USD worth of $S tokens as startup capital for the US-listed ETF, due to recent market deterioration and the continuous decline in token prices, the project team has decided to suspend the implementation of the related plan to avoid large-scale token issuance in unfavorable market conditions.

According to the latest statement, Sonic Labs has set more cautious trigger conditions — in the future, token minting and ETF configuration processes will only be initiated when the $S price breaks above $0.50. At the same time, the total scale of the entire plan is strictly limited to a cap of 50 million USD. This adjustment reflects the project's emphasis on market timing and the protection of investors' interests.
