When the S&P 500 hits new all-time highs, capital flows in almost automatically through systematic channels—pension funds rebalancing, 401(k) contributions, and passive ETF buying programs create relentless bid pressure. Corporate buybacks add another layer. But Bitcoin? It lacks those structural forced buyers. Without mandatory allocation mechanisms, without institutional mandate-driven inflows, BTC price discovery depends entirely on voluntary demand. That's a fundamental difference in how these two asset classes accumulate capital and build momentum.

Yeah, that's why institutions still rely on policies for support; retail investors are just playing psychological games.

Bitcoin is indeed underestimated in this regard; it's not driven by forced buying from institutions, but mainly by retail traders... This is truly a free market, isn't it?

Bitcoin is just that awkward—no one is forced to buy it, it's all supported by retail investors' enthusiasm... In contrast, on the S&P side, institutional parents take turns feeding the market. Can they be the same?

Speaking of which, this is the barrier of traditional capital markets. Mechanically, it's crushing... Stocks have major players like pension funds automatically increasing their positions, while BTC relies entirely on retail investors to buy voluntarily. Can the efficiency be the same?

That's why I've always said that the logic of Bitcoin is completely different from that of the US stock market. Institutional mandatory allocation has built a moat, but the crypto circle relies entirely on retail investors' willingness — this is the real test.

That's why institutions are still a bit indifferent towards BTC; it really depends on retail investors and believers to push forward themselves. There's no systemic force forcing them to buy.
