2018 Email Exposed: Epstein Pressured Bannon to Push for Encryption Tax Regulation

In an email from 2018, Jeffrey Epstein expressed clear anxiety about the U.S. Crypto Assets tax policy. He directly pressured Steve Bannon, hoping that the Treasury would quickly provide a statement on the regulation of encryption gains.

Epstein proposed an idea at the time: to create a voluntary disclosure form specifically targeting those “bad people” who evade taxes using Crypto Assets. In his view, the main troubles with Crypto Assets are centered on two points – how to collect taxes and how to regulate.

Later on, he also pointed his criticism at Facebook's Libra project, worrying that this thing could bring unpredictable risks to the financial system. The email also discussed the potential impact of Crypto Assets on the global economy.

Interestingly, this batch of emails also revealed a detail: as early as 2015, Epstein had met with Tether co-founder Brock Pierce. It seems that his interest in the Crypto Assets circle was much earlier than the outside world imagined.

Wait, is Epstein also worried about tax regulation? Why is this guy so concerned about compliance... It's really amazing; back in 2018, he was already worrying about Libra risks, and now he himself has become the biggest risk. These pros have long known that encryption needs regulation, while we retail investors are still rushing in... Honestly, the voluntary disclosure form trick sounds like a clever play. And that meeting with Pierce, there must be so many stories behind it. He understands regulation better than anyone else; taking the opposite position and dumping belongs to him. Financial system risk? Dude, you are the risk yourself.

Huh? Epstein was also concerned about tax regulation, this plot is a bit outrageous. Dealing with tax evasion through voluntary disclosure forms sounds like he's paving the way for himself. He had already connected with people from Tether... this group really is small. Regarding Libra, he was even more nervous than the Fed. Wait, why was this guy so concerned about the encryption ecosystem back then... To put it bluntly, he just wants to muddy the waters to make it easier to play people for suckers. His connections are indeed solid, no wonder he can play so big. When it comes to tax regulation, everyone wants to get to the bottom of it. He's really willing to touch anything.

Are we digging up old stories again? This guy has been pondering how to manage encryption tax since 2018, and the result is still a mess... Do you really think that voluntarily disclosing forms can stop tax evaders? It's laughable; regulation has always been a cat-and-mouse game. Libra was indeed quite fierce that year, it scared him so much that he couldn't sit still; this insight is indeed something. Wait, this guy is also linked to Pierce? The Tether drama is getting more and more interesting. He was anxious back in 2018, so this guy must be in a state of despair now...

Huh? Is Epstein still messing with tax regulation? It sounds nice to say it's voluntary disclosure, but it's really just about exposing tax evaders. This guy really worries about a lot, from taxes to Libra and then Tether, a true regulation fanatic... Wait, he was in contact with Pierce back in 2015? How deep must this network be?

Wait, why is this guy suddenly concerned about taxes? I'm dying of laughter. If I had known he had so many schemes behind him, now looking at the emails feels like just the tip of the iceberg. Libra was indeed scary back then, and looking back now, it still is. The details regarding his relationship with Pierce are worth digging into; it's not simple.

Wait a minute, why is this guy worrying about tax regulation? That's really off the charts. Is Epstein reaching out to Bannon to push for encryption regulation? This plot is really absurd. Voluntary disclosure forms to deal with tax evasion sound nice, but in reality, they just want to tighten the trap on the crypto circle. When Libra crashed, why was he still worrying about financial risks? There are enough other concerns. Since 2015, he has been in contact with Tether, and these pros had already laid out their plans early on. Once this matter came up, it became quite interesting; it feels like everyone wants to control the narrative. Taxes are always an inescapable pit; no wonder they can't settle down.

Wow, this guy was worrying about tax regulation back then? He really thought of himself as a financier, and what did it lead to? Just this?
