Why is the concentration of Large Investors in XRP so high?🧐
Ripple Labs is the dominant player, holding 46 billion XRP, most of which is locked in escrow. Founder Chris Larsen personally holds 5 billion. The top 10 wallets control 41% of the total supply, and the top 20 hold over 50%—this level of concentration is quite outrageous.
Small retail investors (holding less than 1000 coins) are clearly just a backdrop. There is a problem with this distribution situation: as long as a few large investors want to dump, the entire market could be severely impacted. The strength of price stability really raises a question mark.
XRP is still popular, but to truly stand firm, the key lies in how Ripple manages these supply levels and whether market confidence can hold up.
