Don't remind me again today

Just in: Mining operator Bitdeer experienced a fire incident at their Massillon facility in Ohio. The company's quick response came with reassurance that mining operations remain unaffected—hashrate stays intact.

Market didn't buy it though. Shares took another hit, dropping 7.5% in extended trading. Investors seem jittery despite management's damage control efforts. This adds to the ongoing pressure bitcoin miners face with tightening margins and operational risks.

Another reminder that physical infrastructure vulnerabilities can shake investor confidence faster than any hashrate metric can restore it.

The mining farms have started to catch fire on their own... I really can't stand to watch it anymore.
