$UNI has been held back, turning on the fee switch to trace back and destroy 100 million UNI Tokens, along with many empowering details, which should far exceed market expectations for a proposal, and UNI has also risen by 40%+.
1. Implementation method of the fee switch
The design here is to first accumulate the protocol fees into a contract called TokenJar, which only allows inflow and no outflow. The only condition for release is that someone burns a certain amount of UNI in the Firepit contract. The effect is equivalent to buyback and destruction.
2. Unichain sequencer fees, after deducting L1 costs, are all burned.
3. Introduce Aggregator Hooks to aggregate the liquidity of other protocols on-chain into Uniswap and stack protocol fees, promoting UNI burn.
4. Closing the front-end/wallet/API fees, this action shows a good level of sincerity and demonstrates full support for UNI empowerment.
5. Internalizing MEV introduces a PFDA auction, simply put, during the auction, the minimum protocol fee can be reduced to 0, and the bidding cost of MEV will flow back into the destruction of UNI. This is similar to many anti-MEV solutions, but it is connected to the UNI Token.
6. Trace back the destruction of 100 million UNI Tokens, which comes from the treasury and corresponds to the possible accumulated burn amount of "if the fee was opened back then." Sincerity points +1.
7. Another detail is that a two-year budget spending limit has been pre-approved (a total of 40M UNI), which looks quite expensive.
