3 Major Token Unlocks to Watch Closely in Late October 2025
The crypto market will see more than $653 million worth of new tokens in the last week of October 2025. Three major projects – Grass (GRASS), Jupiter (JUP), and Zora (ZORA) – will release large amounts of additional token supply. The release of these tokens has the potential to cause market volatility and affect price movements in the short term. Here’s a breakdown of things to note.
Grass (GRASS)
Grass is a project that allows users to monetize unused internet bandwidth. By utilizing blockchain technology, Grass rewards participants privately, forming a global network of easily accessible data sources.
On October 28, the project will release 181 million GRASS tokens. The total value of these released tokens is estimated to be around $80.24 million, which accounts for 72.4% of the total tokens released. This is the first major token release since the token generation event (TGE) in October 2024.
Of the total tokens unlocked, early investors will receive 126 million GRASS, while project contributors will get 55 million altcoin tokens.
Jupiter (JUP)
Jupiter is a decentralized liquidity aggregator built on the Solana (SOL) blockchain. The platform optimizes trading paths across multiple decentralized exchanges (DEXs) to provide the best price in token exchange with minimum slippage.
On October 28, Jupiter will unlock 53.47 million JUP tokens worth approximately $23.58 million. This amount is equivalent to 1.72% of the outstanding supply. This process follows a monthly vesting schedule with a cliff system.
Most of these tokens are allocated to the development team (38.89 million JUP). In addition, Mercurial stakeholders will receive 14.58 million JUP tokens.
Zora (ZORA)
Zora is a decentralized protocol and social network that supports the creator economy. The platform allows users to convert their digital content – such as posts or images – into tradable crypto tokens.
On October 30, Zora will unlock 166.67 million tokens worth approximately $16.3 million. This amount represents 4.55% of the outstanding supply and is intended for key stakeholders.
Of the total tokens to be released, investors will receive 72.5 million tokens. Meanwhile, the development team will get 52.5 million ZORA, and the treasury fund will get 41.67 million ZORA.
Besides these three projects, other major token unlocks worthy of investors’ attention in the last week of October include Kamino Finance (KMNO), Optimism (OP), Immutable (IMX), Sign (SIGN), and others.
