WebZero and Polkadot promote university scholarships for sub0 Symbiosis in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, October 20, 2025 – Less than a month before sub0 Symbiosis, the flagship conference of Polkadot to be held from November 14 to 16 in Buenos Aires, WebZero announces a network of partnerships with universities across Latin America, accompanied by a scholarship program aimed at facilitating student participation in the event and in the sub0 Hackathon, which will distribute over $41,000 in prizes.

Expanding Web3 Education and Talent

The goal is to connect the leading universities in the region with the Polkadot ecosystem to strengthen the training of new talent in blockchain and Web3.

Among the participating institutions are Champagnat University, Champagnat University Blockchain Club, UCEMA Crypto Club, Di Tella University Blockchain Club, UTN, University of Rosario, ORT University Uruguay, UNCuyo, National University of Mar del Plata, University Blockchain Network, ITBA, and Austral University.

During the event, a University Room will be set up as a meeting point between students, teachers, and members of the Polkadot community, promoting academic exchange, collaboration, and the development of new decentralized projects.

Scholarships open until October 15

The sub0 Scholarship Program includes travel assistance for students wishing to attend in person in Buenos Aires. It is open to both students from partner universities and independent students, with priority given to those participating in the hackathon. Selected candidates will be notified between October 15 and 20.
