On September 2, 2025, the A-share market showed an overall adjustment trend. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.45%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 2.14%, the ChiNext Index fell by 2.85%, and the STAR 50 Index fell by 2.13%. Nevertheless, over a thousand stocks still recorded gains in both markets, with a total transaction volume of approximately 2.88 trillion yuan on that day.
In this market situation, the humanoid robot and reducer sectors have performed remarkably, standing out as highlights of the market. Among them, Jiyang Precision (836720.BJ) surged by 20.06%, Aofei (688165.SH) rose nearly 9%, Wuzhou Xinchun (603667.SH) increased by 7.41%, and Changsheng Bearings (300718.SZ) and Mingzhi Electric (603728.SH) also showed impressive performances.
It is worth noting that in the early hours of the day in Beijing time, Tesla released the fourth chapter of its Master Plan, mentioning that it is developing products and services that bring AI into the real world. Since the beginning of the year, Musk has repeatedly depicted the vision for the scaling of the Optimus robot, believing that in the future about 80% of Tesla's value will come from the Optimus robot, and the scaling of FSD and Optimus will become the company's most important development direction.
The banking sector also showed a good performance, with Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank (601077.SH), Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank (601825.SH), China Merchants Bank (600036.SH), and CITIC Bank (601998.SH) all experiencing increases.
Some brokerages analyze that in the context of a sustained low interest rate environment, the phenomenon of asset scarcity may continue, and insurance companies still have a long-term demand for stable high-yield assets. Currently, the dividend yield of the banking sector is about 4%, ranking among the top in the industry, especially the dividend yield of H-shares is even more significant. Considering the characteristics of stable bank dividends, low valuations, and smaller performance fluctuations, it is expected to continue attracting insurance fund inflows. In addition, given that small and medium-sized insurance companies will implement new accounting standards starting January 2026, the banking sector is expected to receive more incremental funds.
The power sector also performed strongly, with Jingyuntong (601908.SH) and Shanghai Electric (600021.SH) both hitting the daily limit, while Jidian Co. (000875.SZ) and Guotou Power (600886.SH) also showed good performance.
According to statistics, 33 thermal power listed companies have disclosed their semi-annual reports recently. Among them, 17 companies reported a year-on-year increase in net profit, and 6 companies saw a year-on-year increase in both revenue and net profit. These 6 companies are Shanghai Electric Power, Jingneng Power, Baoneng New Energy, Huayin Power, Gansu Energy, and Chendian International.
However, the computing power sector has suffered a collective setback, with related concept stocks experiencing significant declines. Tianfu Communication (300394.SZ) fell more than 10%, Guangxun Technology (002281.SZ) hit the limit down, and companies such as Xinyisheng (300502.SZ), Zhongji Xuchuang (300308.SZ), Inspur Information (000977.SZ), Industrial Fulian (601138.SH), Rockchip (603893.SH), and Allwinner Technology (300458.SZ) also showed obvious declines.
In addition, the military industry, consumer electronics, and medical sectors also showed weakness, with Lens Technology (300433.SZ) falling over 7%, Goertek Inc. (002241.SZ) dropping 6.84%, and Changying Precision (300115.SZ), Chengdu Xian Dao (688222.SH), and Sino Medical (688108.SH) all experiencing varying degrees of decline.
