Hey, is the KD indicator really that magical? I look around and it seems like just a bunch of mathematical formulas and complicated calculations. To be honest, I think relying solely on these technical analysis indicators to make big money in the stock market is just a pipe dream.
I think it’s more practical to directly observe market sentiment and the movements of large players. Like recently, Trump is stirring up the China-U.S. trade war again, and Bitcoin directly plummeted by 10%. Such significant news impacts the market; how can the KD indicator predict that?
Moreover, those so-called golden crosses and death crosses sound quite scary, but it's really hard to say how accurate they are. I've seen plenty of cases where a so-called buy signal appeared, but the stock price still continued to fall. Aren't these indicators a bit unreliable?
I think instead of spending time researching these fancy indicators, we should pay more attention to fundamental analysis and the macroeconomic situation. Recent events like the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision are the real big events that impact the market. As for the KD indicator, it's at most just a reference, so don't take it too seriously.
However, every investor has their own style and strategy. Some prefer Technical Analysis, while others favor fundamentals, and there is no right or wrong. The key is to find a method that suits you and continuously learn and adjust. After all, the market is ever-changing, and there will never be a fixed rule.
What do you think? What are your views on the KD indicator? Feel free to share your insights and experiences.
