According to sources, the Unity game engine is quietly rolling out a patch that fixes a vulnerability allowing third-party code to run in Android-based mobile games, which could target mobile Wallets.
According to reports, the vulnerability affects projects since 2017, and it adds that the vulnerability mainly impacts Android, but Windows, macOS, and Linux systems are also affected to varying degrees. Unity has begun privately distributing patches and standalone patching tools to selected partners, but public guidance is not expected to be released until next Monday or Tuesday.
