Have you ever thought that you could made money just by watching videos? I didn't believe it either until I tried it. I've been diving into this world for months and I want to tell you how it really works, no filters.

Platforms that pay you ( or so they say )

I have tried several of these platforms and I have mixed feelings. Theta Network seemed interesting to me because it shares your bandwidth to stream videos and pays you in TFUEL. But let's be honest, the earnings are ridiculous if you don't have a good connection.

Livepeer disappointed me quite a bit. Its betting system as "transcoders" sounds nice but you need to invest a significant amount of LPT tokens to see any profitability.

Verasity has an interesting approach - they pay you to watch ads. But after hours of watching boring advertisements, the VRA tokens I made barely justified the time spent.

I liked DTube because it works similarly to YouTube but with rewards in Steem. The problem? The content is limited and creators are more concerned with made money than with making quality videos.

The cruel reality of made money by watching videos

Let's be clear. These services won't make you rich. After weeks of watching videos on these platforms, I barely made money equivalent to a few euros. The big exchanges don't even mention these coins because many are mediocre projects with little real utility.

The process is simple but tedious:

1. Choose platform (I researched for weeks to find the least bad ones)
2. Create account (get ready for endless verifications)
3. Set up wallet ( where you will store your miserable made money )
4. Watch boring videos or repetitive ads
5. Forcefully interact with mediocre content

The risks that no one tells you about

The volatility is brutal. I made money with AIOZ tokens for a week and the next day they had lost 40% of their value. What a waste of time!

Many platforms are unstable. I started on one called LimeWire that promised great rewards and closed without warning after two months. I lost everything I had accumulated.

The worst are the scams. I received a fake link from "Verasity" that almost emptied my wallet. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing in this ecosystem.

My sincere conclusion

If you have time to waste and curiosity, give it a try. But don't expect to get rich, far from it. Most of these tokens have little real value and the hours spent could be more productive learning about serious blockchain projects.

Personally, I prefer to invest directly in cryptocurrencies with solid fundamentals than to waste hours watching boring videos for tokens of questionable value.

My earnings after three months? Approximately 30€ converted to ETH. It's not worth the effort, but at least I learned something about these side projects while searching for the treasure that never came.
