How the Queen of Cryptocurrencies of OneCoin evaded capture for 7 years

Ruja Ignatova confounds the entire world 🌍. She disappeared in 2017. Without a trace. The founder of OneCoin, "the Queen of Cryptocurrencies", remains a ghost until October 2025.

She is the only woman among the 10 most wanted by the FBI. That's no small feat. Her OneCoin scheme, founded in 2014, defrauded investors of about $4.5 billion 💰. A fortune stolen with smiles.

The Queen fooled everyone 🕵️‍♀️

Seven years. Nothing. The theories abound. Dubai seems to be the most likely hideout. Or maybe Southeast Asia. They say he lives in luxury.

The BBC released interesting documents. It seems that Ignatova worked with Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan Al Qassimi. They unfroze suspicious funds together. A villa was purchased for $20 million in the UAE. Not bad for a fugitive.

He also made a very strange deal with Sheikh Saoud in 2015. He sold him 230,000 Bitcoins. Today they would be worth $22.5 billion. And something even murkier: he bought information from the Bulgarian police. This explains a lot.

Dead? It's not clear 🔪

Another story circulates. The Queen was murdered. Ironies of life: by order of the drug dealer she herself hired for protection. Hristoforos Nikos Amanatidis. They call him "Taki" 🩸.

He was paying $100,000 a month. Expensive bodyguard. Journalist Dimitar Stoyanov tells a chilling story: his dismembered body ended up in the Ionian Sea. Late 2018, supposedly.

A close associate of Taki, Kamenov, told everything to the CIA in 2022. A year later, he was killed in Cape Town. With his wife. And two associates. Convenient.

The strangest thing: Taki was never prosecuted for this "murder". He has a history of theft, drugs, and several homicides, but nothing on Ignatova... 🚔. Some say they both live in Dubai. Together. They even say he is the godfather of her daughter. What a twist.

Did he become a man? 🤔

TradingPedia launched a crazy theory in 2022. Ignatova may have transformed into a man. They published eight possible faces. One shows a guy with short hair and a beard.

Brian McColl, who is investigating the case, believes she is still alive. The FBI and Europol are looking for her as a living person. They must know something 🌕.

"No murder, period" 🔍

The German police are clear about it. He is alive. According to Der Spiegel, he could be in Cape Town. Wealthy area. Guarded by private security.

The evidence against Taki doesn't add up. When he supposedly killed her, he was in prison in the Netherlands. Impossible.

Sabine Dässel from the LKA Düsseldorf was blunt: "We believe she is still alive. Her family is not in mourning. There is no information about her death. There is no murder. She is still alive, period."

A former employee, Duncan Arthur, swears that Ignatova was still in contact with her brother long after her supposed death 📱.

The great deception 🚀

Ruja seduced millions by promising the new Bitcoin. An Oxford graduate selling smoke. Without a digital ledger. A pure scam.

Three years after launching OneCoin, she fled from Sofia to Athens. Authorities were hot on her heels. The FBI offers $5 million for information 💼.

Meanwhile, Taki remains an enigma. Her whereabouts are as mysterious as hers. The Crypto Queen is playing hide and seek... and she is winning 🔥.
