What a joke this is about the BRICS and their "magic coin"!

Wow, wow! The BRICS ( Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa ) are at it again with their story about the coin that is going to "bring down the dollar." I've been hearing this story for years and it's always the same: a lot of noise and little substance.

I have followed this topic from within and I can tell you that this is pure political propaganda. Backed by gold? Ha! Have you seen how some of these countries manage their own economies? Russia with sanctions up to its neck, Brazil always on the brink of collapse, and India with brutal inequality.

Look, I invested in "dollar alternative" coins before and ended up losing my savings. This proposal sounds nice in theory, but in practice, it is a disaster waiting to happen. Who is going to coordinate a coin among countries that can barely agree on basic trade?

The truth is that this is a desperate attempt by these countries to gain geopolitical relevance. Trump has already threatened with 100% tariffs if they try to compete with the dollar. And you know what? He is right to be concerned because it's pure theater.

Let’s not fall for this Chinese tale (literally). The real economic power is still where it has always been. If it were that easy to create a viable global coin, they would have done it decades ago.

And to top it off, I see influencers talking about this as if it were the second coming of the economic Christ. Do you really think that China is going to share monetary control with Brazil or South Africa?

My advice: don't invest a single cent in this fantasy. The dollar has problems, yes, but from here to a BRICS coin replacing it... pigs might fly first.
