💵 What is the dollar sign? 💸

Abstract generation in progress

The dollar sign ($) exists in two main variants. Interesting, right?

1️⃣ With One Line:

• We see it everywhere today. In apps, screens, modern documents.

• Simple. Direct. Its minimalism conquered the digital world and financial platforms adopted it almost without thinking.

2️⃣ With Two Lines:

• It has history. Deeper. It seems to have originated when someone superimposed the letters "U" and "S" from United States.

• It appears in formal papers and ancient designs. The digital age left it behind, although not completely.

Which one should you use?

Both are working! ✅

The one-liner dominates the current landscape. It's simpler. Easier to write. It represents US money and that of other countries as well. Everything comes from the old Spanish peso, although the details are not entirely clear.

And you? Which one do you like more?
