Dan Bilzerian, that guy who seems to live in a permanent movie, supposedly has over 200 million dollars in 2024. And I say "supposedly" because, come on, everything in his life seems like a big staged spectacle.
Where does all that money come from? He says itâs from high-stakes poker, but many of us think the real source is Daddy Bilzerian and the trust he set up for him and his brother Adam. Itâs much easier to risk money when you already have a millionaire family cushion, right?
It also has its electronic cigarette company Ignite, which lost 50 million in 2019 due to absurd marketing expenses (read: parties with models). But of course, when you live off the image, even financial failures are useful to continue feeding the character.
Participate in movies with irrelevant roles like in "Lone Survivor" and has sponsorships like the one from Reebok that gives him 5 million a year just for existing and posing on Instagram. What a tough life!
The controversy over the origin of his wealth never disappears. Professional poker or a privileged heir playing self-made? I lean towards the latter, but he will continue selling the fantasy while millions of us admire or envy him from our regular jobs.
What do you all think? Business genius or rich kid who knows how to market himself well?
