💵 Which dollar sign is correct? 💸

Abstract generation in progress

The dollar sign ($) exists in two styles. Different but the same.

1️⃣ With One Line:

• Master the digital world. Simple.

• It seems that its minimalism has transformed it into the standard for almost all modern computer systems. Technology prefers it.

2️⃣ With Two Lines:

• It has history. Deeper and somewhat mysterious, related to theories about its origin.

• It may come from superimposing "U" and "S". It is not entirely clear.

• We see it in old documents. It has a certain vintage elegance.

Is it correct?

Both of them are. ✅

The double line was born first, I think. But the single line spread like wildfire in the digital age. It's cleaner. Easier.

The dollar sign no longer only represents US money. Canada uses it. Australia does too. And New Zealand. It's interesting how a simple symbol has conquered the global financial landscape.

And you? Which one do you like more?
