The mysterious creator of Bitcoin would be 50 years old 🚀
April 5, 2025. The mysterious creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, would have turned 50. The world's first cryptocurrency has revolutionized the financial world. The current price is around $85,000. Impressive. And the identity of the creator? A mystery. Just speculations.
Who is this Satoshi Nakamoto? 🔍
First appeared on October 31, 2008. Posted a white paper about Bitcoin in a cryptography mailing list. Claimed to be Japanese, 37 years old. But something doesn't add up. Wrote in English too well. Used British spellings — "colour", "optimise". Strange for a Japanese person, isn't it?
His activity chart on the network is also interesting. He rarely appeared between 5 and 11 AM Greenwich time. It looks like a resident of the USA or Britain. And the name? Some see pieces of company names in it — Samsung, Toshiba, Nakamichi, and Motorola. Coincidence? It seems unlikely.
What he did for Bitcoin 💎
A total of 9 pages. His white paper. A revolution in money without intermediaries. January 3, 2009 - the first block with a mysterious inscription about British banks from the Times newspaper. An obvious hint at the problems of the traditional system.
Satoshi solved the "double spending" puzzle. No one could do it before. Miners, proof of work — everything came together. He worked on the project until mid-2010, then handed over the reins to Gavin Andresen. And disappeared in April 2011. Completely.
Billions that no one has touched 💰
Satoshi Nakamoto seems to have between 750,000 and 1,100,000 Bitcoins. At the current price — from $63.8 to $93.5 billion. One of the 20 richest people in the world! But the coins are not moving. At all. 🌕
Sergio Lerner found the "Patoshi pattern" in early blocks. It's like Satoshi's fingerprints. Interestingly, over time he mined less and gave others a chance.
If he moved those coins... The market would go crazy. But they are just sitting there. Maybe he lost the keys? Died? Or maybe it's his gift to all of us? 🎁
Main Suspects 🕵️♂️
Hal Finney was the first to receive bitcoins from Satoshi. He lived next to a man named Dorian Nakamoto. The handwriting is similar. He denied it until his death in 2014.
Nick Szabo invented Bit Gold — the precursor to Bitcoin. He writes exactly like Satoshi.
Adam Back created Hashcash — a technology from the white paper. He communicated with Satoshi from the very beginning.
Craig Wright shouted louder than anyone "it's me!". Evidence - zero. In 2024, the court directly stated: he is not Satoshi, and his documents are forgeries.
What's happening now? 📰
2024 year. The court in the COPA lawsuit has put an end to Craig Wright's claims. He is not Satoshi, and that's that.
By September 2025, Nakamoto's bitcoins remain untouched. Like exhibits in a museum.
16 years have passed. The mystery remains unsolved. And Bitcoin is growing, changing the world and opening new horizons. That's the way it is. 🚀🔥
