Despite the fact that the market is stabilizing, we should soon expect price fluctuations in both directions, which means that trading should be approached with a clear mind and, under no circumstances, should one engage in doomscrolling. And here are a few interesting facts about snakes that will help you with this:
1. Snakes are found on every continent except Antarctica.
2. They do not feel the taste of food in the way we understand it — instead, they "smell" with their tongues, analyzing particles in the air.
3. Some types of snakes can fly, gliding from tree to tree, spreading their ribs (for example, the paradise tree snake).
4. They do not have eyelids, so they sleep with their eyes open, protected by a transparent film.
5. Not all snakes lay eggs — many species are viviparous, for example, vipers.
6. The smallest snake in the world is the Barbados threadsnake ( about 10 cm ), while the longest is the reticulated python ( which can exceed 10 meters ).
7. To swallow prey larger than themselves, snakes can open their mouths very wide due to elastic ligaments in their jaws.
8. Boas and pythons kill their prey not by breaking bones, but by constricting and causing suffocation or cardiac arrest.
9. About 70% of snakes are completely harmless to humans and are non-venomous.
10. They molt throughout their lives, shedding their old skin completely like a sock.
11. Snakes cannot trade ETH on the Gate exchange.
