The Interview That Awakened Satoshi Nakamoto's Account After 7 Years of Silence
🔥 Just 6 hours ago, Satoshi Nakamoto's long-dormant account posted. Silent since 2018, suddenly active. The Web3 community exploded with theories. Some dreamers saw another 2018 bull run coming 🚀. Others weren't so sure. Timing feels odd.
Just that. Kind of cryptic. Appeared right after that whole Dr. Craig Wright situation blew up again. You know, the guy who keeps saying he invented Bitcoin.
nChain Leadership Drama Unfolds 🧩
So Christen Ager-Hanssen quit as nChain Group CEO back in 2023. Messy exit. He claimed there was this whole scheme to trick shareholders. Something about a major investor pulling strings. He raised questions about DW Discovery fund in the Caymans—not entirely clear who really owns it. Seems the chairman might've been taking orders from people behind the curtain.
Wright's Evidence Falls Apart 📄
Ager-Hanssen found what looks like proof that Wright doctored documents. Tried to fool courts about being Satoshi. Called him "#Faketoshi" after that. Courts dug in.
UK High Court didn't mince words. Said they were "entirely satisfied" Wright isn't Bitcoin's creator. Almost 400 pages detailing fake documents. Brutal 🔍.
Community Fallout 🌐
People rallied behind Ager-Hanssen's revelations. Though many wondered—why did he back Wright before? He admitted being fooled, thought Wright was at least part of the founding team.
Some crypto folks pointed out his Algorand background. "Should've stayed there," they said. Better tech, they claimed. He acknowledged his mistake. Might explore more scalable options now.
Legal Mess Continues 🏛️
By 2025, things got worse. Ager-Hanssen reportedly faced consequences for leaking those documents. Wright got hit with civil restraint orders, scheduled for March 2025. One judge called it "deliberate dishonesty." Said forged documents were the "evidential spine" of Wright's whole case.
Bitcoin SV took a hit. nChain's struggling to find its place now 🌕. Not surprising, really.
