What Has One Eye But Can't See?
A needle.
That little hole at the end where you push thread through? Yeah, that's called an "eye." Kind of funny when you think about it. The needle has this eye, but of course it can't actually see anything. It's just metal.
Words are weird like that. Same term, totally different meanings.
I've heard some people mention other answers too. The eye of a hurricane - that calm spot in the middle of all that chaos. Potato eyes work too, those little bumpy sprouts. The eye of a storm might count.
It seems people never get tired of these old wordplay riddles. They're everywhere in 2025. Puzzle books. Brain teasers. Quick little mental games for kids and grown-ups alike.
Not entirely clear why we love playing with language so much. But we do.
