Arjun's Blockchain Vision: Building for Devs

robot
Abstract generation in progress

Anurag Arjun, who founded Avail and helped create Polygon, recently talked about what blockchain really needs - infrastructure that developers actually want to use. Mass adoption? It depends on this. During a June chat this year, he seemed pretty convinced that Layer-2 rollups are the way forward for scaling apps.

"Web3's future? It's all about the developers." Arjun sees a world with hundreds of specialized rollups. All connected. Kind of like shopping online but with blockchain superpowers 🔥.

His Avail project tackles Web3's big headaches. Data availability. Consensus. The basics. They raised $27 million in seed funding. Not small change. The team's pushing hard to connect Web3's fragmented pieces 🌐.

Arjun wasn't always in crypto. Finance background. SNL Financial. Dexter Consultancy. Then blockchain in 2017.

He made some interesting comments last October about blockchain architecture. Innovative stuff. His focus hasn't changed - it's still about building foundations that can actually scale 🌕.

What makes Avail different? Their Unification Layer includes Avail DA for scale, Nexus for rollup communication, Fusion for multi-asset staking. Complex pieces working together. The goal is solving blockchain's limits while keeping things decentralized. Not an easy balance to strike 💫.
