Little Jinbao has been focusing on @irys_xyz, which is getting closer to the mainnet.

It’s also seeing the partners of IRYS one after another, who will they collaborate with next?

I boldly guess whether there will be a collaboration with @peaq. In my opinion, there are quite a few opportunities for cooperation between both parties.

First, let's talk about the two major pain points of Depin's development to the present fabric:
How to process massive machine data at low cost and high efficiency?
How can data producers further realize more value from data?

The technical solution of IRYS happens to effectively solve these two problems, and Peaq is a blockchain network specifically designed to support DePIN.

If both parties cooperate, I would like to call it the DePIN 2.0 new era, working together to build a value closed loop for machine data.

In simple terms, this collaboration builds a complete closed loop from data "birth" to "eternal life" and then to "creating value":

Peaq serves as the "body" and "network":
As a foundational blockchain, Peaq is optimized for the machine economy, connecting and managing millions of devices, handling device authentication, payments, and interactions, ensuring the authenticity and reliability of data sources.

IRYS serves as the "memory" and "brain":
As a programmable data storage layer, IRYS not only permanently stores massive amounts of data from the Peaq network at an extremely low cost, but also brings the data to "life" through programmable features, supporting automated data trading, computation, and revenue distribution.

This combination transforms the DePIN project from merely a device network into a powerful data value network.

In addition, the most intuitive highlight of IRYS is its ability to effectively reduce costs while also improving performance:

Significant cost reduction: The combination of Peaq's low-cost transactions and IRYS's low-cost permanent storage can reduce the overall cost of data storage and processing to below 5% of traditional cloud services, clearing the high-cost barriers for large-scale applications.

Seamless Real-Time Experience: The sub-second block time of Peaq combined with the high throughput and low latency storage of IRYS can support machine economy applications that require real-time responsiveness, which is difficult for many existing solutions to achieve.

Developer-friendly: Both support EVM compatibility, providing a unified development toolchain, significantly lowering the development and integration threshold for DePIN projects.

The cooperation between both parties can also help Peaq achieve data assetization:
Data generated by machines, such as environmental sensor readings, vehicle trajectories, etc., can be permanently stored through IRYS and can be packaged into tradable digital assets (such as data NFTs) or sold directly to demand parties like AI laboratories and research institutions through licensing agreements.

In summary, if the collaboration between IRYS and Peaq goes beyond a simple combination of technical functions, it can enable DePIN to advance from the 1.0 "device networking" stage to the 2.0 "data valorization" stage.

By building a complete solution that spans data generation, permanence, and programmable execution, this scenario is indeed very promising. @cn_irys_xyz
