According to news from BiJie Wang, on September 18, Slow Mist's information security officer 23pds posted on the X platform stating that the variant of the AMOS spyware Trojan, Odyssey, is distributing false AI tool advertisements through channels such as Twitter, enticing users to download malware disguised as AI tool clients. It uses AppleScript as the main payload to steal sensitive data such as system information, browser data, and Crypto Assets wallet information.
